The price is what the price is Bob. I had an inkling all along that he would stay in London; he’s a smashing player and I think you’ve got a great signing there.
It’s highly amusing listening to the mixed opinions regarding Declan Rice’s almost certain move to Arsenal.
West Ham have apparently now pulled a Cockney Geezer type fast one on Arsenal mugging them for £100 million pounds yet if he’d gone to the Cheats for £10 million less that would have been entirely different.
According to Spuds supporters who today pulled off the audacious signing of James Madison (because neither the Cheats, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal or Newcastle wanted him) Declan Rice is dumb for choosing Arsenal over the Cheats.
I mean why would he want to go to a team and play alongside William Saliba, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus to be coached by one of the most talented young coaches in world football dumb that.
I mean, why would you want to go to a team and play alongside De Bruyne, Haaland, Grealish, Mahrez and countless others and be coached by the best coach in the world football? Especially when you can go to the Spursiest non-Spud team in the league, not win in Europe for the foreseeable future and be called “Deccy” by the most deluded bunch of muggy fans outside of N17?
Still if it all goes tits up at the Library, “Deccy” can flee Captain Black’s clutches after two or three years and go elsewhere. He’ll only be 26 or 27 and will still have the chance to win something.
Ask your ex captain because he’s now going to become an Arsenal player according to both the Athletic and the Guardian.
The reason The Cheats pulled out was because they where told that Declan Rice wanted to go Arsenal and unlike Chelsea last January they sensibly where not prepared to pay a huge amount for a player who didn’t want to play for them.
All you Arsenal haters are ridiculous you would rather see the Cheats totally dominate this league by being allowed to keep hoovering up every world class British player and turn the PL into the Bundesliga, La Liga or Ligue Un.
Why not back a team who are at least having a go and trying to at least keep the league competitive instead of dominated by team facing 115 FFP charges.
