Just switch it off and on again on the app?
If the firmware is up to date on your Muso 2, all you need to do is delete the old presets and set up new ones.
It’s alive. I think my mistake was to skip out of the Naim app. I pulled the power, switched it back on, restarted the app which showed the qb again, went through the update again, didn’t touch my phone left the app open and waited until the qb returned to normal “on” lights.
Phew.
Of course the irony is I only really listen to bbc radio 2.
On the app on iPad, sunday night I think, def before today anyway! It sometimes dropped off but now it connects to mac mini on click but no sound comes out until I go into app and press random things it seems. It also doesn’t turn off until I unplug it and replug, the sleeper doesn’t change when I change it . It used to randomly turn on at night as well once a week so I’ll see if its stopped that.
Mine says its muso 1931 so different model?
Says you have a muso 2 in your profile…
I’m pretty sure it is a muso2, says 1931 tho
Today I made a new NAIM update and iRadio is working ![]()
Wasn’t sun prob Tuesday night
Wow that’s an old one.
Updated the F&N app to 2.1 (10) for my Muso-1, took about 10 minutes of flashing etc before resuming back to normal state. Still no iRadio unfortunately. Turned off, and back again. No difference. Hopefully, as stated by the above Naim notification, it will come on-line again in the next week or so. C’est la vie.

Have you remembered to delete your old radio presets?
2022 I think, special edition wood panel or somat got in an open box sale.
Most likely the 7.3 appp that iis a requirement for the firmware update. If he had updated he would be the first outside HQ. The only part I agree with iis that it would have been really nice if all presets and radio favorits had been deleted during the update.
Updated Muso 1 on WiFi, took 15mins including resetting the presets. Will have a go with my qb in the morning ![]()
“1931” will be the last 4 digits of the MAC address of your muso. That’s just how they are named by default in the Naim app.
I successfully updated two MuSo Gen 1s, a UnitiQute and a NAC N-272. All worked immediately when fully implemented. Well done Naim. However, a few tips to the premature tinkerers in the Naim community (me included):
- The MuSos took a long time to download the new radio station list. This happened for me because even after deleting the old presets, there was an “old” preset still loaded that was seeking its target. After pressing “stop stream” the new stations downloaded.
- The NAC N-272 went haywire and kept stalling when trying to play Tidal tracks. This was was solved when the Naim app updated to ver. 7.3
- As ever with Naim, patience is a must. Over the years I have learned not to tinker too soon and accept that most of my problems in the past were related to my network (e.g. a rogue BT hub that didn’t comply with an international standard for something very technical and nerdy) or external sources (such as vTuner). HiFi this good doesn’t make allowances for others’ compromises or incompetence.
- Well done Naim. Great work.
@Stevesky Where do I add my custom radio stations on a Muso Gen1 with the new update? Tx
I’ve just updated my two QB1’s in Sydney, then noticed the updated app to make it all work, which I updated too.
Having successfully deleted all of my radio presets, found and added the new ones, all is working as it should.
No issues with the update process here.
Very happy ![]()
