I cannot verify on the older platforms (so no promise): on my Nova, it’s within the F&N app, in Internet Radio → Added Stations. There’s now a big + sign, where you can locally add custom stations. Similar/same data fields as before, just within the app.
(It needs to be done for each device, if you have multiple.)
Thanks Richard, that solved it! Muso-1 iRadio back in action again :-). This has now motivated me to find out how to get Tidal working directly from the Muso F&N app rather than via the Tidal app on my mobile connected via bluetooth. I can’t figure it out. I press Spotify via the F&N app and up comes Spotify on the round dial. I press Tidal via the F&N app, and nothing, no icon, and no Tidal music. Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?
Hi Kurt. You make a good point. I cannot find this option on my Muso 1, Unitiqute and NAC N-272. It’s on my UnitiAtom HE.
Both Musos gen 1 firmware updates completed. Muso last night and qb this morning, all seems good ![]()
Well done Naim for superb support on my 9 year old Muso QB 1 and getting the update out a week ahead of published schedule. I updated my app to version 7.3 then updated the Muso QB to version 2.1.10, reset the presets and all is working well. I think the new Naim iRadio service is a considerable improvement in term of useability compared to vTuner.
Thankyou @Richard.Dane for your patience and communications during this issue.
This whole issue confirms I feel correct in staying a Naim customer for 40 years.
Hi Meon2. Try this: On the Naim App: Go to your MuSo > Settings (top right cog) >input settings > Tidal > [check you are logged in to Tidal, if so log out and in again].
You may have to do this in all your devices.
Thanks for confirming. The “Added Stations” option is not on the iRadio page in the app for the Muso.
I have updated my ancient Muso1 but when I tap on internet radio it suggests ‘no results found’. I don’t know whether I have done something wrong or whether it is maybe just downloading the list. Any suggestions?
Did you remove your old presets?
You may need to wait a little bit. Also try closing down the App fully (dismissing) and then re-starting it.
Sorry guys, just updated the app (normally happens automatically in the Apple sphere) and I now have the list. Tried BBC radio 3 and all working ![]()

I did remove the presets. As I said in my last post, I had failed to update the app, despite lots of earlier posts suggesting it was essential. Bit of a d’oh moment.
Happy days!!
Updated the firmware, took about 10 minutes, very straightforward using the Android App. Left the MuSo Qb1 to update. Once completed, opened the device and could see the iRadio stations. Note, remove the existing presets and then you can add the new ones!!
We are back!! Thanks to the Naim team ![]()
Updated FW on my mu-so gen 1 and that worked fine and then I tried radio Swedish P1 and that just ended up in “Station unavailable”. The same thing works fine on my QB gen 2?
Tested BBC Radio 1 and that worked fine so not sure what is going on.
Well said
My gen 1 muso is working fine now
I wonder how many of the wingers and moaners will have the decency to apologise?
Just completed my Qb and muso
I know its computer audio…and its all the same…but I think I detect better clarity at top and bottom ends and just nice in the middle
So thank you Naim from this 77 year old…and my 555 2PS is just fine
One example? Well leading edges seem better defined and the pace has picked up somewhat
Who would have thought it at my age!!!
Nice one!!!
Hi @Kurt
On the Muso Gen1 with this update its no longer possible to add custom stations, unlike the newer products. Why?
-
The old VTuner system stored customer presets on their server. However, data protection laws have come in since VTuner did that feature and it’s a far more complex world of storing customer data than it was in 2008. We couldn’t replicate the solution on the new system and not get in legal hot water.
-
On the new system + newer products (>2018 onwards) added stations are stored locally inside the customers product and not on any servers. This avoids this problem, but of course can be not as convenient when a customer owns multiple products.
Overall, if the station is missing in the directory, let us know and we’ll add it assuming it’s legitimate. We have a dedicated sticky thread here:

Back up and running… Stations weren’t showing (despite having cleared my old presets) because it seemed the Qb was still trying to reconnect to the last (old) station I had been playing. Stopping that process resolved everything.
I have the same problem, even after reset the unit.
Well done Naim. All working well. Thank you.
The update appeared in the end. Those who could not update will probably find after some time.
