Did you see my post above re navigation to the Rooms view?
Yes I have the last version of Naim and Spotify apps on android.
No change after unplugged mains and restart tab and phone. Always 10s of silence next to the end on 90% of songs only with Spotify connect.
I thought load of the next track for gapless is not correctly managed?
Yes thank you hence the like!
Yes you are very right I think it’s also if I use qobuz within tha Naim app and skip tracks, it has to do with the music queue within the app I guess! But I tested it also with the Muso QB2 and didn’t had this issue, so looks like a combination to me, but could be wrong!
My Atom has had a recurring issue since 3.7.0 that escalated this afternoon and i’ve not been able to fully resolve.
In the first couple of instances the unit stopped playing with album art frozen on screen . It’s still there when you turn the power switch off thus…
First couple of times I disconnected the power line for a few minutes, plugged it back in and the unit restarted itself and carried on normally.
Today I noticed my Qobuz favourites disappeared from the app and I was unable to select any internet sources on the Atom. When I powered it down I had the artwork freeze again.
Have now tried a full factory reset and reinstalled the app but the Atom still seems unwilling to connect to the internet.
Thee Qobuz favourites momentarily appeared on the app again but disappeared after playing one track. It couldn’t reach the firmware update server via either wired or wireless connections.
I’ve now managed to get it playing again but can only stream from local sources.
What do I do now?
I,m having issues with Spotify Connect on my ATOM, if I try playing a song the Atom correctly fires up ,shows artwork but no sound, playing the same song via the built in Chromecast works every time .
Every other input is working fine, if I unplug the Atom then Spotify Connect works when powered back up . Everything played fine pre v.3.7.0
@milesF @Wez68 Other users have resolved similar issues by restarting their routers.
I would also stress need to be using latest version of Naim App (5.22.1 for Apple iOS and 2.22.1 for Android devices), and to fully power down and restart your phone/tablet, too.
Done all that Clare, thanks. Next stop customer support I guess?
BTW I see Spotify users are reporting outages and there seem to widespread problems with certain social media platforms reported in the news.
Wonder if my issue might be related too?
Unfortunately I’ve done all that , also I forgot to say that the app struggles to find the ATOM very often , again it was rock solid before the update
Is there a way of installing the previous version of the Naim app? I want to roll back on my android device to the app that worked fine
Could well be that. I would suggest unplugging your Atom and leaving for a few hours/overnight. If not joy after that, contact support@naimaudio.com - they can run full diagnostics
Definitely sounds like a network issue - please contact support@naimaudio.com so they can run diagnostics
Hi @skimminstones, I’m afraid you can’t revert to an old build of the app. Please can I ask you to talk to our support team (support@naimaudio.com) so they can research your issues in greater detail.
Hi,
I am unhappy with 3.7.0 update on my ND555.
Sound is less clear and less open then before.
Has someone similar impressions?
Is it possible to back to previous firmware?
Can I check if you have power cycled your ND555? (Fully powered down, left for at least 30 minutes then reconnect? Leaving unplugged overnight is one suggestion.)
I would suggest that, a router restart and checking you are in latest version of Naim App.
Ive emailed them yesterday, awaiting a response
No change at all here.
