Football Season 2020 - 2021

Disappointing not to get anything from that game but it was a really good performance, one of our best of the season. Really proud of ya, West Ham!

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiironnnnnnnnnnnnnns!

Yes, Kev. I thought the Hammers acquitted themselves well. Very nearly snatched a point at the death when Diop missed that unchallenged header. Man City look nailed-on champions.

Yes my in my heart I would have liked to see West Ham win but as a Gooner it’s points dropped that’s important.

I have to say that the Arsenal West Ham game in a few weeks is the first in many a year I’m not looking forward too and that is the biggest compliment I can pay them.

Brighton - my lord - two missed penalties and a goal that wasn’t, then was, then wasn’t again…

They are getting well and truly sucked in to the relegation mire.

Newcastle and Brighton looking over their shoulders. Fulham looking stronger.

Always more interesting at the bottom of the table!

Just watched the Brighton highlights and it’s quite unbelievable how they came away with nothing.

Looking forward to the Arsenal match coming up.

As a Man City fan, I am hoping for Leicester and Chelsea wins today.

Well as it stands we will be helping out Man U, West Ham and Chelsea but will go above The Spuds, I’ll take that!!

Another great comeback by the Arsenal 3-1 against a Leicester side who at the start of play where 7 places and 15 points above us.

Arteta’s team selection and going down to another early goal had me fearing another PL defeat but I’ve got to say apart from 5 minutes after half time we pretty much dominated play.

A man of the match display from Willian has me and every Arsenal supporter saying WTF! But credit where credit is due Arteta’s faith in the player paid off for him and the team 3 assists for Willian in about 100 mins of football.

Pepe also stepped up which allowed Arteta to fully rest our young Superstar
Bukayo Saka.

Almost as exciting as being a Wrexham AFC fan at present!

Well, hope you enjoyed the half hour…

Now, back to normal.
Beware, the sleeping giant is starting to wake…

Not nearly as much as you enjoyed your time at the top I suspect.

What, West Ham? I fully agree.

It’s also nice to see small clubs, like Cheltenham, Peterbrough, Forest Green and Tottenham doing well.

Win our game in hand, Kev, and it’s only 3 points…

Blimey - former WHU and Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder has died…

Remember him most as a quality defender playing for a number of years at Newcastle United. R.I.P.

You better give that not so giant giant another kick up the backside because he’s about to sleep through another decade.

RIP the Saint.

A truly great player (they don’t make them like him anymore), pundit and all round lovelyl guy.

The whole world of football will miss him.

I don’t know why but it’s more nerve wracking watching on tv than it is in the ground.
Another fifty minutes to go.
