I did a thing ... 500DR to come

Yes,Linn and Naim were two of the forerunners in the Seventies with Source first and no Tone controls etc.

Too young in the 70s but 3nd of eighties it was still naim and linn (sometimes vs :relieved:)

That’s why they had to develope the tone control hidden in a speaker cable

Woh woh woh I’ll have none of that.

Records are damn cool and sound amazing. Not to mention without my record player my system would lose most of it’s aesthetic appeal.

Judge for yourself

Just send an email to the German Vertere distributor how much I liked the TT he showed me beginning of this year.
Guess which one it was

MG-1 I think

Well the slender look of the MG-1 is really nice but the RG-1 photos are like gear pornography for me. Especially with the new Vertere tonearm

I’ve had a Vertere DG-1. Cool table :+1: It also fits the Fraim very nice. Didn’t like the arm. Felt bit to much prototype for me.

Here

Julian’s turntable - not so bad … finally got an aro

Very nice but a bit too much Star Trek

But you should try the turntable from
Oephi

Or even better

Neotech

That just reminded me about that Oephi do speakers too. Hm.

Reference.

Oh no ribbon tweeters. They are doomed. Ducks for cover and runs.

Neotech speakers will offer warp-force carbonite speakers - that’s for sure :blush:

Seen them on their page - looks … hmmm. Guess it sounds very good and if they are naim fans - could be a match!

Boxes made of up-occ wood with drivers made of graphene only 1 atom thick. Costing a few quid sounding like a million. :joy:
