I struggle with the idea of iconic with this thread… some of my favourite albums have wonderful covers, but they’re not iconic.

The word “iconic” is massively overused. I like your idea of “wonderful.” A thread of crap covers might be fun too.

That indeed could be a good thread. I own some brilliant albums that have awful covers. Pet Sounds springs to mind. Imo.
