Sure that’s possible, although it would be very odd for VTuner to be using the sort of independent multi-server setup you suggest. But who knows?
Has VTuner not yet communicated anything to Naim? Is there no explanation for this?

A suggestion from someone who runs an app used by many people. It might be worth considering having a messaging system whereby Naim can push a notice to customers informing them of issues such as this. That should be fairly trivial to program.
If Naim hear anything and are OK for me to pass along to everyone here then I will of course do so.
I placed an order on eBay for a new screen, supposedly compatible with my serial number UQ2
I assume I should replace the screen before updating the firmware.
I just hope I can do the screen replacement successfully at home.
MuSo Qb gen1
I am also having the same issue where i’ve lost all my Internet Radio.
Tried to unplug, reset etc, with no luck. Looking at the comments, looks like they will be sending over a software patch sometime in the future.
Wonder what changed to have stopped the service so abruptly.

If it’s indeed gen1, you will have to wait until the 14th of Feb for firmware update to be available. See “sticky” post.
I have one on the way too for my UQ2, it’s awaiting customs clearance. I suspect forum rules will forbid any further discussion though.
I’ll be holding out updating my firmware until I have the new screen in place. Whilst it should be possible to do without a working screen I’d prefer the reassurance of seeing progress on the screen as well as the software, especially if things go wrong which is unlikely. I’ve done many updates over the years on the Qute, legacy NDX and NDS without any issues.
I think that would be sensible, as it is just vTuner that doesn’t currently work. If you have local stored music (NAS) or use Tidal these should still work and offer a way of testing the unit after the screen has been changed.
Let us know how you get on.
It’s a right pain, but there are some workarounds mentioned on the sticky.
But perhaps time to look on the bright side, if all goes to plan you’ll be getting a nice Valentine’s Day present!
Roger
Ill be interested to hear how installing the new screen goes, for both yourself and @trickydickie
I hope the firmware update on the 14th comes out at 00:01 hours, otherwise these threads are going to melt…
14th of February is perfect timing – I can tell my wife the firmware is my Valentine’s Day gift to her and spend the entire evening dealing with the complexity of Gen1 update.
You’ll find firmware 4.9 on the Naim website, which will get the iRadio working again. Never mind the 14th, it’s here eight days early! You’ll need the latest app update to make it work.
Thank you, Nigel. Will try that on my first generation Uniti later on.
Cheers!
Update from Naim:
Just to confirm firmware 4.9 is now available for customers to update their products to switch from vTuner to Naim Radio - https://media.focal-naim.com/naim/file_manager_files/pages/legal/updates/streaming-products2.pdf
Mu-so Gen 1, firmware 2.1.0 is live although, it may be filtering through the system for some, and this is for the naim radio update. I’ve checked update works here ok.
No other changes have gone into these releases.
We have also made available 7.3.0 APPs to support Naim Radio for these products.
Please remember to remove your old presets.
I’ve just updated one of my 3 Muso QB’s and all is good so far.
Note: after updating, the device wasn’t showing up in the Naim app until I manually updated the app in the App Store.
I’ve noticed that the presets remain saved and need to be updated, mostly. The exception is for some stations that I added manually in VTuner using URL’s. These remain working which is a blessing as they don’t appear in the new list of stations, e.g. Nation Radio South. Other stations such as BBC Radio 2 need to be reapplied, replacing the old presets that no longer work.
Hats off to Naim for under promising and over delivering on this one.
I’ve been told by Naim that there may be an issue with some ant-virus software not liking the download. They will ask for a Zip file to be made available tomorrow, which should avoid this problem.
The full Nation radio network is in the new system, plus are at 320kbit.
Easiest way to find tyem is browse Brands->Nation Radio

Thanks, I missed the regional section, found now!
