You could connect 2 different sounding streaming bridges to the ND555.
Choose the one that best suits the style of music you want to play.

Just exploring options right now - I like options! 
The ND555 stand-alone playing music just now worked very well, so it is all ‘in there’ detail and music weave stuff is there.
Also - and this I’m not sure about at all - some of the effects are so like bad ‘run-in’ of some expensive cables that are rubbish for a couple of weeks or more then suddenly all the shrill mess clears-away and they are great.
I like to be hopeful but not counting on this - I like hope too!

You just connect spdif out to spdif in.
You don’t need to use USB.
The zenith is usb only
I’m using a Naim cable that does BNC-to RCA on the Pulse.
As the date is sent to the DAC and it gets its termination there and the BNC does that better - that is what I did. You only really need the termination at the receive end - nice to have at send too, but at the DAC gives cleaner connection, fewer transmission line mismatch relections and the noise from that.

Pulse and pulse mini does have that. Zenith has only usb out.
But it’s not a streaming bridge.

No - I am not - sad to say, but not happy as hoped. Still a bit harsh and shouty
Instruments sound unnatural - strings for example are too bright

The Pulse + DAVE is stunning, I’ve not heard digital playback sound so good. I hope at some point the Naim streaming side of things improve. I love music on a daily basis at least 3 hours a day, my medicine, to starve one of this is criminal with the amounts people have invested.
