Well some interesting news, next year they will also get the use of some bigger rooms.
A few meeting rooms will hopefully be available, not sure how many or if i would be offered one, but i have said i would like one if possible and would bring my system back again if i got one.
Obviously this should help my system breathe better, and also allow more people in. So crossing everything in hope.

That’s good news.
I will try to attend and bring some of my 3 local hifi mates with me.
Well doing the show again this year, all paid up for the hotel room, so no going back.
This year we will doing things a bit different to mix it up a bit, plus don’t just want to do the same each year.
With that this is what or should i say we hope to take.
2 x philips 2 track reel to reels.
Sony elcaset el7.
Vitus sia030 amp again as like last year.
A cd player just in case.
Amphion argon 1 speakers.
A very different system to last year, but we will have a few master tapes, like yello, stella album, fink, and hopefully a few others as well. Plus we will have some tapes made using my vivaldi as a source.
Obviously we wont be streaming this year, that means we Obviously won’t be able to play anything requested like we did last year all day, but hopefully what we have will be enjoyable.
Plus hopefully these little bookshelf speakers will raise a few eyebrows, but as said very different to last year.
Hopefully you will make it too the show and pop in and say hi, remember it’s all for charity and great fun.

24 days to go.
Will be taking the big rig up again this year.
We have a bigger, better room this year, so it should hopefully help the system shine more. So if you have nothing to do on Sunday 26th October, then what’s better than popping along to this unique hifi event.
You can find me in room 135, come say hello, tell us your favourite track, and we will play it. Hopefully, you will drift away on the sofa. Yes, we have a sofa, listening to your favourite track.
Once again, all proceeds will go to charity, raffle Prizes, etc. We want to break the £10k mark this year if we can.

Not long to go now and final pre prep stuff going on, basically making a few reel to reel tapes for the show.
So won’t be long till all the boxes have to come down from the loft again, and the big strip down happens once again. I must be mad.

Well it’s almost time to get all the boxes down again and pack it all up.
Some fantastic prizes on offer on sunday as well, so another great reason to make it to the show Sunday.

Can’t make it this year, the little matter of a 60th birthday party getting in the way.
hope you all have a good time there.
If anyone is on the fence about going I highly recommend going. It’s fascinating to see so many other enthusiasts, so many different systems so many different sounds and so many different ways to make good sound.
