Says ‘out of stock’ on the website. Production issues due to COVID?
Years of issues makes me avoid, a pity really
Others on here have recently got some Q10s with no problems. Yes, there were production issues initially but these got sorted out. I was lucky to get a pair in those early production problems. A great speaker.
Lovely system, nice chair, great view!
@Sandy8 I think that is the best combo of system and listening room I have ever seen!
Where is that?
Thanks Snarfy. The view is of the Chief in Squamish BC Canada. The room was small so the setup was perfect in that room. Could have used a solid wall behind the Harbeth’s but i couldn’t resist putting them in front of the window.
Thanks Richard, i miss the view but still have the Nait.
So has the CB Nait 2 arrived yet? First impressions?
The Nait 2 has arrived, although unfortunately the power plug got shattered during transit.
Will post some photos and impressions when I get it up and running
It’s a good idea to always ask a seller to remove the mains plug (if it’s removable), as they usually get damaged, or worse still cause terrible damage to the kit they’re with.
If I sell any hifi kit with an attached mains lead, I always make a point that it will be shipped without the mains plug. It’s easy enough for the buyer to fit one at the other end and it saves all kinds of heartache.
Still struggling with correct packaging how a plug would get broken. It must have rattled around inside, which is worrying. Or the box got bashed, which is worrying.
And I like the idea that people would know how to wire a plug! A skill many sub 30 year olds have never done. Or properly either!
Bad packing aside, it’s a good idea on old kit. I always check a removable plug before using. Some haven’t been touched since day one, some have badly wired plugs / incorrect fuse ratings.
Seller actually packed the Nait 2 very well, and very careful placed the power cable with the plug next to the Nait. The power plug is wrapped too.
My guess is that the package got tossed about in transit and the weight of the Nait crushed against the power plug and breaking it.
Those nait and half size boxes are almost an ideal size for a careless courier to throw. My power amp comes in 2 huge boxes that each weigh over 30kgs. The worst they can do to them is drop from height. But at least you’d see the damage before you open it.
Looks beautiful
What fuse should be in a Nait 1/2?
In the UK plug, it’ll be a 13A.
Thanks Richard. Thought so but just checking.
