Naim & Focal 10th Anniversary Edition

From the Richer Sounds web page , it seems stand mounts are also available

This is a poor picture of my 906 K2. I don’t think of them as grey, they have a hint of blue actually. The yellow stuff on the driver, not as yellow as pictures tell either. You must se them, I like them.

Of course you’d also need one of these in Putty.

Really makes those yellow cones “pop”

Funny as we see things different.
First time I looked at the Tin edition this weekend, not for me.
Force people to buy Focal speakers too, makes this a no-go for me.

No doubt it sound good, indeed the amps are excellent, speakers are more an individual taste and Focal sound so much different to say Naim’s own, now discontinued speakers.
Which again was very different performing depending on vintage.

This made me chuckle.

Yes, well that is nice marketing too. I’m sure the irony won’t be lost on the forum.

Like it, taking the pi55 without actual taking the pi55 out off naim, but we all know they are.

Naim dealers sell b grade naim stock. Some anyway. Mine refuses to take part!

It’s good to see a company retaining a sense of humour.

Humour at one’s own expense is more classy, but hey

A cheaper/hotter version of a MacBook by the looks of it.

I thought it was great that Naim carried on building the SN2 & XS 2 long after they were discontinued - in a drive to use up unused stocks of parts and to keep down waste. Those units were sold as new and with proper warranties at discounted prices, making it easier for the less well off to climb the ladder. A very good idea lMHO.

Think so Richard - got a new work laptop

TIN

I instantly thought of the tin edition when reading that Rega announcement too. Subtle, but well played.

I did wonder if there was a degree of truth in it.

Well I was at the Munich show and saw the tin stack.

They do not look much better in person.
Speaker might be ok but the classic Naim kit needs to be black. I really don’t understand why they decided to do it. Market research?

This gray look is better suited for Uniti range me thinks.

It is an HP titanium laptop, made for industrial/military usage. I have have been using mine for over 4 years. Never missed a beat.
