The more I consider it, the more I rather like the grey with the black knobs and switches. It puts me in mind of some of the designs of Harmut Esslinger and the wonderful kit that Sony brought out during the '70s and early '80s under the Wega brand.
Thereâs a new concrete Fraim too but you have to buy the Crain before you can assemble it!

If someone is waiting in line for an NDX2 and some of the limited number of chips are diverted to the Tin edition, they will have to wait longer. That may not happen of course, but itâs easy to see how it might. The same goes for the DR modules etc in the 250 or Hicap.

And if I understand it right, the color is only available if you buy the full set. That canât be too many. By the same logic one could demand that Naim does not sell any new black boxes until forum users have their DR upgrades done
As someone who owns no Naim and is therefore not invested in the brand, Iâm not sure of the wisdom of branding Forum members conservative. Iâm certainly not conservative, and I wonder who these people you believe itâs aimed at actually are. People who will happily drop ÂŁ28,000 on a mullet system maybe. People not worried about the challenges of future upgrades? People with more money than sense?
