I take it you were there too, at Cardiff.
Old geezers certainly, but they’ve still got it, and they do put on a good show.

Yes I was right at the front in Cardiff and saw every twitch of the four of them. They were amazing. Best I’ve ever seen them. Don’t know what will happen, but I did think (and still do) that they knew that was it and possibly never see them again. They threw everything at that show.
I know it’s largely nostalgia, but the concert setlist on the night almost guarantees that everyone present will leave feeling that the boys played them their own personal favourite.
For the encore, the roar which went up at Manchester for the opening chords of Gimme Shelter was deafening, and I notice that they played this throughout the entire tour as the penultimate choon.
Mick was really hyped up at Cardiff. Very special evening and from reading about other concerts that year, I take it they were superb at every one. Great year for them. Hope it’s not the last, but it does make you think.
Just ordered the Cardiff setlist lithograph from Ronnie’s site. Thanks again for posting your pic, it’s going to look great framed.
I have one of those from Twickenham. Though bought it at Ronnie’s exhibition last year.
It is indeed.
It looks great. Very iconic poster-look.
I like her work a lot too - will be ordering a piece this weekend-thanks for posting
Thank you very much
Were these the names of NHS staff who died?
No, you could sponsor the plane and your name gets added.
Thank you again for your post and thereby introducing this artist
My wife and I emailed her and then bought a couple of her pieces - Zara and Fiona.
They arrived today and are now unpacked
Here is 'Fiona"
a great set, kind of had me singing the intros as I read it
Well done, Fiona looks lovely. The picture we bought from the artist brings us a lot of pleasure.
I hope your two pictures do the same for you. and thank you for posting and showing us what you bought.
This large diptych - ‘The Offing’ - by Robert Davies (who is mentioned in posts 12, 13 and 24 above) has been selected for the 26th Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize.
The offing is the part of the sea between the shore and the horizon.
The creature on the right panel is a (deceased) bee (Bombus Terrestris).
This work will soon be on tour nationally.
I don’t own this drawing, but I do have several works by this artist.
Had not come across this topic until now.
Here are a few paintings around the house.
Eustaquio Segrelles, Spanish artist, 1936
A small one from American artist, Peter Hurd
A couple from early 20th century French artist, Edouard Cortes
And a bit more contemporary from Canadian artist, Neal Patterson. This one is in the listening area.
