Welcome to the community and thank you for suggestion. Magnificent film and soundtrack.

Yes, I thought of that too.

Blue Collar - Howling Wolf, Capt Beefheart, Ry Cooder, Ike and Tine Turner, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jack Nietzsche.

Quite a few there that I would have suggested.

But no-one seems to have mentioned the most obvious film of all, notable because it precisely and perfectly sums up what our our hobby and common interest is all about: The Sound of Music!

The first vinyl album I bought was Western Themes and the second was Great War Music themes. A bit sad, but everyone around me at school were playing Bowie, Genesis, Procol Harum and Moody Blues. I had discovered classical music by then (Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, Ralph Vaughn Williams and Sibelius). But it was this film that clinched for me the importance of soundtracks: Scott of the Antarctic (1947). And don’t forget Zulu!

Watched the Richard Curtis film ‘About Time’ last night on Netflix.

A decent soundtrack with even more good stuff in the film.

Interestingly, the first album I received at the age of 11 was Geoff Love’s Big War Movie Themes, whilst my friends were listening to Deep Purple, Cream etc, I was enjoying the Battle of Britain and Where Eagles Dare on a Dansette autochanger with ceramic cartridge.
How things have changed…
