ND555 at Olive System

3 boxes to go (NDac/XPS/ND5XS2) - 2 to come (ND555/555PS) … if all will go well. Crossing fingers
Need the Rest.
Small olive box (PSU for TT) can go to Quadraspire and HDX elsewhere.
When brain/brawn stacked I could move the quadraspire to the left - but then I need all the TV-HDMI cables to run through naim environment…

Think I will go for:

left:
ND555
Spare (filled with a spare 250 unplugged - I hate a hole in the rack)
SC
135
135

Right
TT
52
TT-PS
SC
555PS

And fot testing I will configure one long legged fraim and put in on top of the left side - thanks for triggering that

It doesn’t bother me, especially if it’s across two or three racks all the same.

Solidstell wall shel. Very solid. Some have it here for their lp12.

Very expensive ££££

When I had an Olive Armageddon it didn’t have an illuminated logo, I believe that was because the Arma is AC so couldn’t provide a DC supply for the logo, or something like that. It’s strange that yours is illuminated, and I wonder if it’s been tweaked somehow.

I’d be inclined to sell the spare 250, let someone else enjoy it.

In an ideal world you’d have the 52 on the left, with a gap and then the 555 and then another gap. If you want the 52 in the middle you’ll have to accept compromises; it’s hard to avoid them with both TT and streaming source and so many boxes. An answer could be to get a 552 and 500, which would save a lot of space and allow you to ditch the SC for the Prefix.

Reading of your conundrum makes me so pleased it’s something I no longer have to stress about!

It looks like @drago has a Phonosophie P3 TT so it will have a different PSU (IIRC based on a modified NAP140) rather than an Armageddon.

Thanks James, that would explain it. I just lazily assumed it was an LP12.

No - it is a phonosophie with a p3ps based on 140.
@HungryHalibut
Someday I will be equally relaxed with one remaining box

But for now I really look so much forward for the nd555

Around 250 euros. There are probably also second hand mana shelves.

Here in UK that Solidsteel wall shelf is around £500 GBP or 569 Euro.

Maybe I will organize a wall shelf for the streamer - to avoid „foot tapping rattle“

Further project thinking coming ahead…
With NAC 52 not on top shelf - which is really difficult to arrange - I have the “third leg cable connecting dilemma”
No problem with the lavender so far - all fine.
But if I like to try the hi-line which should be part of the Box with ND555 … this will be a different ballgame.
Checked here and found my own thread and others - circling the back sided leg a bit, could bring a solution. Also using a smaller one (one from the front) - Which I planned to buy anyway.

For a start I will use the lavender - as said - BIG fan. When I had my first test run of hi-line, I preferred the lavender.

That’s a lot of Naim.

There is more in other rooms - and in my cupboard

And this afternoon I could be lucky that no one has watched my doing - have gained a ticket to nerd-asylum

Test setup is build with spare fraim so that I can compare - third fraim will be dismanteled afterwards and final setup should look as before.
Also checked with fraim if back-leg turned 90 degrees would help. Think it could - it is 4-5 cm more space. Best could be a turned leg from the front legs set at the back - see pics…

Edit: leveling Fraim is such a pity if you are me… 100% is not enough :joy:

Beautiful Hi-Fi setup!

Thanks a lot
For initial testing…
555PS will go on top (and perfectly leveled) 3rd Fraim (spare with long legs) - ND555 will go on top of the mountain (or iron throne  )

If - what I really think - it is a winner, I will change to final stacking soon

Now … it is only with the ND555 to arrive here…
Thanks for reading and adoring me !
