I like the look of the Bedrok plinth from the angle in this picture, to me it is better looking than the LP12-50 which IMHO has too many curves within its design and doesn’t work as well as the rectangular lines of the Bedrok LP12.
For me the Bedrok is way out of my price range but if those nice people at Linn or Cymbiosis would like to send it to me F.O.C. on a permanent loan I’ll take one for the team and give it a go.
My Woodsong plinth weighs 1.8kg, so if the Bedrok weighs 3.75kg, that is dense, but would make sense if it’s beech compressed to half its thickness, plus the extra material inside.
Linn have very likely used threaded inserts for the base and hinges due to the difficulty in screwing into a dense material. Whoever is buying one, you’ll need to keep an eye on these set screws coming loose over time. Unlike conventional screws into wood, there’s very little friction and you’re relying on the compression of the material to keep its tightness. It’s mostly in the hands of whoever is assembling the deck. Don’t over-tighten or under-tighten 
Regarding the demonstration track used in the videos I’ve seen, why do they always use some useless simple twangy, acoustic, voice song? One of my go-to test tracks is something complex with rhythm like Springsteen - Living Proof. This track will sort out your system. In the early days when I had an Ekos, it used to sound brash, analytical, thumpy-heart-pounding bass (which can sound fun)…basically a confusing heavy rock complicated mess. Along came the Aro and subsequent refinements and this track became so open, simple to follow, musical, with wonderful deep-expansive-airy-tight-bass. Try it loud and see if you find it exhausting after 2-3 consecutive plays*Leave out any personal tastes 
I sense a what best “ Threadlock “ conversation coming. 
If it’s that hard a material then it should be tapped.

Threadlock has its uses, but it’s a bit limited. Compression of material, bolt tension, … it’s all in the Carroll Smith - Engineer To Win book. Used to read it virtually every night 35 years ago.
Whereas in a normal wood plinth you can get away with general screwing, the bedrok will need more care.

If you’re concerned about the extra weight of the Bedrok on your wall shelf, you should be of a standard LP12 as well. I’m sure my wall shelf can handle much more weight.
Here’s my ‘bedrock’ sandwiched plywood rack I made a few years ago while I was waiting for a Quadraspire rack to pop up for sale locally. I’ll make another one for 6K if anyone’s interested - bargain alert!

All this talk of screws into the plinth looks a little misguided to me…is it not the case that the plinth is supplied with inserts fitted to allow the use of set screws to locate other components ?
Looking at the Ripcaster utube video this would seem to be the case.

I noticed you’d had a post deleted - I suspect as you mentioned a few you felt were critical. In all honesty ignore or flag to moderation. Those individuals contribute a lot here and I’m surprised that they have commented adversely which has clearly upset you.
I may be incorrect but the vast majority will either enjoy or ignore these things without commenting.
I managed to find a roughly similar priced item, ready to play with no wood surrounded - Rega Naia.
Its quite amusing someone is willing to pay UKP 8750 for a piece of special wood - as long as its Linn branded. 
Yes it is amusing indeed. I’ve once thanked a guy next to me at the gas station for paying so much taxes for his BMW x5.
In the end, we all need to spend a bit of our savings every now and then to give a little present to ourselves and if one wants to do that: certainly fine. I’ve my own guilty pleasures. Hifi anyone?
