A closer one.
Is it Loews?
It looks very smooth today.
I visited Montecarlo in 1983 for the first time, and went straight to see the Loews hairpin. To me it was one of the most iconic and intriguing corners in Formula 1.
I really was surprised to find a real pavement with a very high kerb. It must have been the end of many glory dreams in the old days.
It was mesmerizing to stand on it and watch the traffic passing by.
Does any one know the year it was modified to piano style kerb?
It is indeed the famous hairpin at Monaco👍🏼
Talking of which, I am teaching in Monaco at the moment.
These were some views on my way to buy a sandwich yesterday lunchtime. Crazy place.
It’s no comfort but thanks for trying!
I have taken that picture of Catbells many times but not as good! Hoping to go to Keswick soon.
You spotted that well!
Is the boat sinking?
Thanks well I have climbed all those fells many times and looked at them from Friar’s Crag quite a few times as well.
