Was in New York City during February and took this snap, wandering around, clear blue skies, late afternoon winter light. Moon is just visible.

Designed by Ludwig Miles van der Rohe ( Barcelona Pavilion, Farnsworth House, et al ).

Completed 1958.
Looks like it was finished only yesterday.

I was completed in 1958…but in 2023 I’m just done. I definitely don’t look (or feel) as fresh and new as that building.

A beautiful orange tree inside an 11th century monastery in Cyprus:


About 10 mins away is this little chapel under the branches of a 700 yr old tree. If you look closely you can see the church bell built into the boughs of the tree:
