If it helps, there was supposed to be a fully weaponed up Navy chopper en route to Cyprus waiting to say hello, but they’d already boxed it up in a C17 and moved on in time for a night out in Ayia Napa before the 4:00 a.m. curfew…

We are about 30 miles from Fairford and can hear and see ( when clear like last Thursday) stuff coming in when they are landing from the west which I guess is not normal. Heard some heavy sounds in the last few days.

Jalan TAR night market is on Saturday evenings only from about 5.00 p.m. As Ramadan will be over by the time you visit it will be even more crowded than when I was there (soon after 5.00).
