Did you re cap it yourself?
No Roberto I don’t have the skills. Chris Murphy of the Real Music company in Wellington New Zealand is the expert.
Looks good what Chris has done. And it will sound so much better.

Lots in that Snaxo. I take it the 500ps is not dr?
The DR tech in the 300 and 500 is in the head unit rather than PS box.
That’ll be it then…
No, it’s my original before…you know…
Is it me or is the Melco just made from Buffalo parts?
Well they are owned by the parent company of buffalo.
That’s a beast - neat enclosure for the transformers too.
The other way round - Buffalo kit’s made up of Melco parts!
I see on their homepage they make a audio grade 8 port L2 switch… for $6k. I’ll give that a miss. I do have a lot of Buffalo bits thought. Dirt cheap and fairly reliable.
One could be forgiven to think only the case and pricetags differ, at least for some of their products:
What are the odds?! I had one of those on my NDX. Of course, both are in long term storage now.
Actually the odds are quite high. Buffalo is fairly ubiquitous for affordable gear in Japan. My keyboard and mouse are even made by them.
