The other way round - Buffalo kit’s made up of Melco parts!

I see on their homepage they make a audio grade 8 port L2 switch… for $6k. I’ll give that a miss. I do have a lot of Buffalo bits thought. Dirt cheap and fairly reliable.

One could be forgiven to think only the case and pricetags differ, at least for some of their products:

Actually the odds are quite high. Buffalo is fairly ubiquitous for affordable gear in Japan. My keyboard and mouse are even made by them.
