We bought these many years ago and they took a few years before they flowered, we have both white and pink. I think they are a lily of the Amarylis family, but the name escapes me…….the Blue flowers are Agapanthus.
P.S wife just found it Crinium Powellii.

A lonely and small flower on an indoor maranta plant. I might get another.
Never managed one before. β€˜Experts’ would have you quickly remove it as it takes strength away from leaf production but I don’t have the heart.

Thank you. I was out photographing just about anything with my recently acquired 400mm f5.6 with 1.4x. I think I had to stand about 12ft or so away, and 1/640th sec in the gentle breeze.
I’m always on the look out for backlit subjects.

This is Rosa Sericea (sp?). Insignificant flowers, huge thorns that glow in the sun.
