Show us your flowers 💐

Our wee small backyard is getting a radical overhaul which will necessitate removing a long established rose and a jasmine as their flowerbed is going - would it be possible to successfully transplant both to large- ish pots? We have no other bed space for them, sadly.

Any advice from proper gardeners (we’re not I’m afraid) greatly appreciated…

Edit\ scrap that, my wife (who wasn’t that bothered with saving them) has just messaged me the builder has already cut them down and removed the roots. A shame to lose them, but gone now.

Tulip cabanna. Don’t laugh, these were given to me last autumn. Love them or hate them. They are actually growing on me though. I think.

Flower photography is something I want to get into, problem is that I am seriously thinking of downsizing from house to a flat . It will break my heart to give up this garden after fifty years but I am getting to the stage of aching bones .
