XL6…and an 18 year old MFC. Pair of MFS hiding behind for surround duties.

Sensational

Thanks and in Neat speak I think it is Red Velvet Cloud

I love these. Made just up the road from where I live. Some describe them as bass monsters- not my experience at all- floor is solid and I suspect that makes a difference. Work so well in my system with the SN3 at the heart of it.

I wonder how few Vito’s they made:

The cabinet shape and plinth of the Vito reminds me a lot of the Naim Ariva.

Going to have to dig my SX2’s out and take a pic. Great speakers.

Both probably made by Hornslet in Denmark.?

The Ariva cabinets were made by the old Castle Acoustics (who also did the Fraim shelves until they closed down).

Are Castle Acoustics still going Richard ?

I think the Castle brand may still exist somewhere but the company itself folded a long time ago. It meant that Naim had to find a new maker for the veneered Fraim shelf parts.

My MFS alongside their successor. Such great speakers, they are now in storage for a (hopeful) future second system.

They certainly did some of the finest cabinets.
You hardly see Ariva’s around, but they were also short-lived - thats for another thread.

They are the XLS predecessor, the MFS.

Good stuff comes in small packages. SX2s, love them to bits.

Mine are attached to wall brackets in a v small room I use as an office. No boom whatsoever at least when driven by an Atom.

The sweet spot :sunglasses:

Neats, really?? Not my cup of tea. Way too expensive for their average performance. Looks are fine though.
