Yes they are Gregg! Secretly I’m jealous.

Those aren’t the Custom Design FS104 stents you mention in your profile. They look more like Something Solid. Do I recall it being you who had some custom made for small ATCs, which are narrower at the back?

I do love the ebony finish. Every time I see them I’m reminded that perhaps I should have got them instead of oak. Oak was the safe choice.

Yes, this is a photo I took shortly after I got the Tabs. The stands are Something Solid, built to match the footprint of my ATC SCM7s, and with the two outer back outriggers shortened to better fit the shallow bay window.

Following the general advice that ProAcs are happiest on heavy stands, I now use Sound Factory FS104s, approx 2/3 filled with Atabites and sitting on Chord Silent Mount SM7s.

Although I’m happy with the Tab 10s, I still have the ATCs and the Something Solid stands, and I may give them a try again, especially if I upgrade my power amp - I have a hunch that the SCM7s will respond really well to having a 300DR up them.

Ah, that makes sense. My memory is not entirely failing then… By Sound Factory I assume you mean Custom Design.

D’oh , yes, it’s my equipment rack that’s Sound Factory.

I am going to assume flexible? It also looks considerably thinner than NACA.
That looks like it will work for me on a bookshelf. Now the only question is if I will need a minimum of
3.5m to work with the Atom

I assume black is not available?

Uniti range is engineered to be able to take shorter lengths. In that shelf set up I posted I used 2m lengths of Linn K20 between Atom and Proacs and it worked very well. I currently use Chord Rumour X between Nova and PMC’s and that is an excellent cable and good vfm

White only and very flexible.

@GraemeH - that is what I thought about the color

@crispyduck - thanks - 2m is definitely better than 3.5m for my eventual setup

If you don’t want white then Witch Hat N2 or Phantom comes in an attractive grey/black

Thanks, the white cable with the stands and speakers looks fantastic!

Thanks. The performance is outstanding too fortunately, and at a sensible price.

They are so gorgeous!

Are they both equally flexible and the same diameter or is one thinner than the other?

Rumour X is thinner but actually not as flexible as the Linn K20 - not sure I could have done my ‘hidden’ shelving arrangement with the Chord. K20 also has advantage of being brown so was easier to blend in

Anyone tried using these in bigger rooms, say above 20m2? My room is 25m2 and has 3,70m high ceilings…so a bit worried that they may be out of breath

Hi GraemeH, what are you using between the stands and speaker?
