Show us Your Tablette 10

Mine is circa 22m2 with 3.2m ceiling and all works nicely. The speakers are close to the longer wall, firing across the room. If that helps.

Yeah, sounds like it could work. May give it a try if the price is right.

It’s great to see this thread alive and kicking 21 months on, and so many happy owners posting pictures of their 10s. There really is something good about something so small being so capable.

Here is one of mine, pictured with Graeme’s cast-off remote and our lovely new table lamp.

Great photo HH

Thank you. It’s hard to get the exposure on both the light and the speaker. More luck than judgement I think. The iPhone 12 can do decent pictures if you poke the screen in the right place.

@GraemeH
I am taking the liberty to copy and paste your post from the speaker jumper thread:

“The T10S are developed and tested with the links in place, is the long and short of it. Single and bi-amplification is also used.”

Your reply is well understood.

Any further comment or explanation about diagonal wiring as per that thread. I would be curious to hear your experience with the Tab10S.

When I changed speaker cable to KS-1 and the NAP 300DR I rewired to the top terminals and have been happy with that configuration.

Understood - thank you

Cross posting from the speaker jumper thread @james_n just posted that Kudos KS1 cable is now available in black.

So now the inevitable question - which is more flexible and less bulky - KS1 or Witch Hat N2.
I might as well ask a bonus question - which sounds better - with Tab10S and Atom?

How much Attabites do you need for filling these up?

I am considering the same setup in the future, not sure if need the higher stands though.

Thanks.

One tub will do them both to just over half way. If you overfill you can deaden the sound.

Thanks - actually i just purchased a pair

Not in my prefered colour but i can live with cherry considering the discount i got on them… (their pricing has gone up this year already as far as i remember)

Next step: sorting out the tweeter height to figure out wether i need SS6 or SS7

That’s great. Are they the Signatures? I have mine on 60cm stands, well 59cm actually. I had the SS6 for a while but couldn’t get on with the looks - too high a metal:speaker ratio. I suppose it depends on whether you sit up or slump when you are listening. To me, 60cm looks better.

Yes, Signatures.
For the Harbeths i have to sit up which is quite a hassle sometimes. I designed the stands a bit too high, forgot to subtract the length of the spikes and the absorbers, so the tweeter was a tad too high. Probably it didn t matter most of the time but i get quite into slump mode late at night

Now with the Iota Alpha in place it doesn t really matter anymore, this is quiet a relief.

SS6 it is then.

I filled each leg to about 2/3

Really positive review of your beloved speakers in Septembers HiFi Plus, with some nice tributes to the great Stewart Tyler, got to say I really like the looks of this little gem and having previously owned Studio 100’s know how good ProAc’s can sound.

Review echo’s many of the positive attributes that many of you have lauded.
