Simple is good. Your setup is pretty similar to mine, and it’s capable of enormously satisfying sounds. As you say, complexity can sometimes get in the way of simply enjoying the music.
May be “simple” but I’m sure it sounds great. Good balance between source first and system balance.
As the Qutest was mainly responsible for the sound it was the GUI that tipped it in favour of the Node for me. BluOS is rather good.
I used to run my Mini wireless with an internal SSD for music storage. I then got a Mac Mini as a music server to serve the Node (it is possible to run the Node off an external hard drive). The Lumin is wired (wireless not an option) and I am using TP-Link Passthrough Powerline adapters to enable this as a direct cable is not possible. I was a sceptical about the wired connection via the adapters but the whole thing has been flawless. 2 boxes to 1 - simplicity.
Well worth investigating the TP-Link (if needed) and the Lumin D2.
I’ll take a look. Thanks.
Lovely Tabby. Coon?
In my post adolescent eyes it is a rabbit, it functions as a little chair or ottoman.
I thought it was part of Dusty’s avatar
Siberian forest cat
Thought it was something from Ann Summers, tbh!
Coat. Got.
A playboy space hopper
Best of luck with that then!
Me too, they are great .
Ah, that’s good to hear. I was eyeballing the little Sonus too.
Looks remarkably like the KEF Muo, makes you half wonder if they licensed it. Hopefully it sounds just as good.
Lovely Californians…love them!
Keen eye, yes California Poppy.
Vicki looks after the garden my role is the BBQ…
The Sonos Roam does an excellent job providing the tunes, tiny unit but sounds much bigger!
Hopefully no food poisoning and the family survives
I resemble that remark
Good spot!!
