Love that Marantz receiver. My office system has the 2220B, and I wouldn’t mind having the extra power of yours!
It’s certainly not the weather here in the South of the UK for being indoors. Not Hi-Fi in the true sense, but it makes for great alfresco listening and plays nicely with Roon. A bit of ‘Critic catching up too…
It is a wonderful and enjoyable system to listen to on the terrace - although it has nothing to do with hifi but music!
I’m sat on the decking at the caravan (Sewerby - East Yorkshire) on a lovely sunny afternoon here’s my Sonos on top of the fridge providing the tunes
PS fridge is full of beer
That’s what we did this afternoon: sitting in the garden, French doors open, my top tunes of 2021 playing on Spotify, and job’s a good’un!
Finally got something that can keep all my boxes seperate - not sure about the 80s metal and glass vibe but it’s sounds better than the old mid century sideboard thing it was in/on…
Dug this out recently, my son had it for years but never played it. So now I have it back, works nicely and a speed check was done and it seems to be OK. The cartridge is an Ortofon VMS 30E MK2 and I have a spare VMS20E stylus. Just needs a nice cleanup and I’ll probably purchase a new belt.

I remember my Dad buying a PL12D from Lasky’s in early 75 ‘to beat the VAT increase’!
I was a Philips GA212 (young) man. One of only three record decks I have ever owned.
My first proper record deck. Connected to a Sansui AU101 ‘New’ Class A amp.
I have the same rack. It’s effective. My Fraimlite gave little improvement vs it , at a much higher cost.
You can just upgrade the shelves later, if you want, with more heavy glass shelves or high density wood.
His son worked at Ford, Mike Callaghan a really nice guy who was the head of public affairs and we were both volunteers on the Ford of Britain charitable trust for a number of years.
Me too. Kudos KS-1. Previously I had Tellurium Black, which was ten years old.
Second that, brilliant aren’t they.
First time I’ve posted on System Pics.
I have tried to keep the box count to a bare minimum and have a relatively straightforward system:
SN3 | LP12 | NDX2 through Twenty5.23s.
Linn Sondek is Karousel . L4 . Kore . Tramp . Ittok (with AT VM750 SH MM cart) on dedicated mains.
I have never enjoyed listening to music so much and I’m very grateful to this forum and to Peter @Cymbiosis in helping me arrive at this particular set up. Absolutely chuffed!!
Very very nice discreet setup! It must sound wonderful.
I love it, though sometimes I think I would be tempted to remove the sliding doors. ;-).
(I just love Naim look)
That’s a lovely looking room and set up
