Now realising that the Kef Ls50 Metas and Kc62 are totally driving this room.
With the SN3 doing the heavy lifting sounds amazing and bigger speakers would probably tip the balance.

Who wins, the tv or the turntable ?
TV right now as watching the interviews post the Tour.
However I can usually combine the two and watch sport to music, well anything is better than Gary Neville.
Actually scratch last comment, I actually have a lot of time for Neville as a player and a person who seems to give a toss, even though he played for the enemy.
Toying with the metas myself after trying Pmc 21 and moving them on⌠do the little kefs need that much space behind? I can only give up to 180mm
I was a bit tongue in cheek because itâs not common to have a turntable just above the tv.
I saw the tour in my town today, even the chicken passing.
Were the peloton far behind?
Or is a âcoq au vanâ a thing there?
Theyâve got variable bungs for the ports and I still use the polo ones (hole in the middle) and have them 49 cms from the rear to the back wall.
Not saying they canât be used closer but with the KC62 sub in tandem this works the best in my room and 7ft away with them placed just over 5ft apart.
Whilst I agree with the best reviews I would say that only a half of the speakers potential is realised with casual placement. They drove me mad getting properly placed and then more so with the sub, once done, amazing.
In second system my Gurus totally opposite, place close to the wall and minor changes yield less than 15 per cent improvement.
I really appreciate speaker designers that work with the room not blame it for everything.
Whatâs wrong with the ATCs?
Appreciate that but the life often involves combining the two, often to more enjoyable effect.
Plus I donât believe my Rega even knows the tv is below it. Let alone it has any physical effect on the sound (heresy I know).
I havenât the patience to waitâŚthere were advertisements cars passing every minute, some were funny.
Lovely looking system and welcome to the forum!
I just changed the Thorens from silver into black.
Looks very nice. Also another base plate mounted. It looks bigger now.
Happy as it is now.
donât forget to give the Dynaudio Evokes a listen the 10âs and 20âs, I went from the KEFâs to Evoke 20âs and love the musicality. You will probably appreciate a sub if you go the KEF route.
Thank you.
Try some Kudos.
I agree, Dynaudio is a great match to Naim in my opinionđ
Well. Mr HR struggled with the Mac yesterday, so I borrowed his PC and he will figure out the Apple system at home. Bass is more controlled now. I guess it is because the bass amp have more control. After six hours we called it a day and he drove home (around two hours).
It will be better in a few weeks.
You are just going to go back to the ATCâs. Resistance is futile.
absolutely nothing! i just fancy the idea of being able to swap in another pair every now and then for a different flavour
i have has evoke 10 and great a low vol but i could not give them enough room behind so the bass got unruly as volume cranked up a bit. So went back to ATCâŚ
