Very much so, who doesn’t ?
Thanks for that. An amazing room and system! Simply gorgeous. Makes me want to buy a projector and screen all over again - oh dear!
My own Naim set-up with a projector many years ago now was very humble compared to this but even that sounded and looked amazing. I can only imagine what your set-up must be capable of!
Wow!
Sound is more up front. More details especially in low and mid. High also but that was already quite good. More sort like of grown up sound.
Bass is at lower volume more present. Very nice sound stage. Speakers almost disappear.
The match with the 282 is good. Maybe the 252 is better I dont know. At the audio store we listened to TAD ME1 and ATC. From my perspective this combintation 282 300DR is fabuleus the TAD speakers are unbelievabel. And they let showed me what this combination is capabele of. ATC was nice. But TAD is next level.
I am very happy with the NAP300DR.
If I would chose the next upgrade it would be TAD. Not the 252.
I hope this helps.
A little more than 25 years ago, I was faced with the decision Guarneri or Extrema. I bought the Guarneri. After a few years, I put it in the cellar and sold it at some point (it travelled from Vienna to New York). I think I would still have the Extremas.
an iPhone picture of a BR of the 1967 well know spaghetti Western last Friday Night, was surprised how acceptable the image was for 56 years old and 10’ across
Been a while, but S1 and 808s settling in well now…looking forward to the winter to enjoy more time in front of them
If I could add more than one “like” to a post, I would do for that pic. Looks ace.
And your system is probably more in tune than Coltrane…
Who knows if I’ll live long enough not to read spaghetti western anymore… There are also linguine, penne, maccheroni, rigatoni, trenette, trofie, tagliatelle, mezze maniche…
How would Pizza Western sound, for instance? Less effective than that evergreen, Kraut Rock?
When will we have Meatball Fantasy or Pernod Noirs?
Questions, questions.
Max,
In Japan we call Italian made Leone Western film macaroni Western.
There was a popular Japanese film critic* decided to change it from Spaghetti to macaroni cuz it sounds better.
Do you play the guitar or is it just included as an accessory?
Very helpful - thanks for such a detailed explanation. I really hope you enjoy your new kit.
Well, yes, okay, that is just one dam awesome setup.
Hi @childx
That’s a terrific set up on a lovely sideboard. Loving the Holy Trinity of shoegaze classics on display too.
What a lovely space. So clean and peaceful looking and a lovely system as well.
