Those Ninka’s are looking good
Nearly as nice as Keilidhs
They have really surprised me Paul.
They seem to have better Bass than the Keilidh’s.
Mrs QS currently travelling the wilds of Norfolk trying to get home to have a listen😁
I think they were Linns replacement for the Keilidhs in 2000. I’ve never heard them though. In theory they should be a nice upgrade but they are 3x ish the price of a pair of Ks. Will Mrs Qs Ninkas have shrunk and changed shade by the time she gets home?
Nope, they are very much in place and she loves them.
I am quite happy with the Keilidh’s, especially backed by the Rel😊
That’s great. Back in the 1990s I used to live in Mevagissey on the Portmellon side. I did the walk to the point along Chapel Point Lane pretty regularly. Lovely spot.
Did you have a hard time connecting the REL?
Dealer did it, was very easy.
Red & Black wires to the Red & Black terminals on speaker A and the Yellow wire to the positive terminal on speaker B.
We did it bare wire for the test, but when it goes permanent we will fit spades etc…
So you used the cable they provide with the T5? I find that sub really interesting. Keep us informed of the sound after the breakin’ period and your impression. Thanks
Yep, perfectly good cable provided in the box.
I had a look at the cable. To do that you ripped open the cable to be able to reach both speakers? or are you connected behind your amp?
The cable is very long and designed to have the sleeve stripped back to leave the required length of wires for connecting to the backs of your speakers🙂
Thanks QS!
Very nice, Gary. Enjoy your Atom. It really is a wonderful piece and the best from Naim in terms of price-performance ratio.
Agreed it has surprised me as to how good it is.
Deleted, please remove.
Wonderful system!
What stand is your TT on - very elegant.
Designed by me and built by my Cabinet Maker friend who also built my vinyl racks, media and lounge storage system.
All designed by me😊
And very nice too.
