“No, follow the shoe!”

Sorry… couldn’t resist…
Indeed! Btw, i recently played King Crimson Island 30th anniversary CD with hdcd coding, It’ s the very first i enjoed this . With other systems i always found these remastered editions unpleasent to my ears. Now i’ m really surprised how sweet and flowing the music is through IBLs.
Merry Xmas Chris !

Oakland Rustic Oak ?
Indeed it is. Also the lamp is from there as well.

It’s no time for cheapo lamps. Original BTC is what you want. British made quality.
So, you have got rid of your Naim kit and replaced it with Linn DSM Selekt with lots of upgrades to the unit. How does it sound? Was it worth downsizing?
Best wishes,
Dan
Mrs DG says, “No”.

Can you buy these HH?
I heard one a few weeks ago with the new top Linn active speakers. One box and a pair of speakers, and it was pretty darn good.
Immediate answer. Yes.
Although it’s only been a few hours, you can hear a lot more detail.
Tracks that I thought I knew well, I’m hearing bits that I haven’t heard before. It’s like listening to a new album for the first time.
I know that it’s still settling down and will go through some ups and downs before it’s fully on song, but if this is anything to go on, it should be cracking.
So far, excellent detail and separation with a good depth of controlled bass.

Same set up for me.
One box and one pair of speakers, albeit active and, really enjoying it.

Thanks where did all the boxes go.
They were all part exchanged for the DSM.

Merry Xmas to you.
