So a system change. Not including the innuos mini and lpsu I’ve gone from 6 boxes to 1. Uniti nova which is doing mighty fine. At my normal listening levels doesn’t give anything away to the Sn3.
Has allowed a simpler access to music so wife approved, allowed the innuos to be relocated from crowded TV rack and cleared the mass of plugs n cables behind the isoblue . The eagle eyed will spot the nova is on 10mm feet to get air under it.
Hi,
Its something i had made from the Etsy website. It does look remarkably like the Urban Editions one though now i have just looked at their site, maybe same people…
I’m with you on that one. Part of my motivation to get a Nova was to lose the rack and use a nice piece of furniture instead. The EE switch and NAS are in the dining room, and the Nova is connected to the switch with the purple wire. This means that the only bit of hifi in the room is the Nova, which allows for a very simple thing to put it on.
How do you dispose of your other kit? Does the dealer take it in and sells it on your behalf whilst taking a margin or do you just get some cash back on trade in?
Generally dealers have to add vat to anything they sell on so it tends to make the deals they offer unattractive. Unless the item you are buying is a lot more than the trade in amount and they can be more generous
Much the same as last year except I have added another fraim medium level I had in the attic to help cable dressing and transformer separation. The 555dr is on the middle tier. Also finally got some art in, a Gordon Walters print near the AV system. And a new Optoma projector as it predecessor was getting noisier and picture paler due to colour wheel slow death.
