Clive, I had the exact same difficulty when I posted a photo of my stacked QUAD ESLs the other day. I shall ask the same young lady to help post the iPhone photo (which I have just taken) when she comes next Tuesday.
It’s made by Original BTC, many of whose designs have the exposed flex, which is part of their attraction.
To answer @Porphyr ’s question yes, it’s current production. The one in the picture is the Fin table lamp.
This…
?
Exactly that*, fergch, but stripped back to bare metal, and with an old-fashioned orange flex, which was my preference of the four or five in the shop. I no longer have the slightest idea how much I paid for it.
- If that has black plastic hinges (which I think may be the case), then it’s still slightly different, as mine is metal throughout.
Has this become the home decor thread
Interestingly there use to be a lot scorn thrown towards those that drifted now it seems it’s more than welcomed it’s encouraged. Thankfully were all obviously becoming a more tolerant gang.
I think that you’ve cracked it! Exactly that.

Apollogies
[/quote] This is modern take of the classic
This is a modern version of the classic Anglepoise I think this one is the type 75.
Love the speakers!
That has a different shaped cowl (is that the word?)and there seems to be something red at the bottom, but otherwise pretty similar.
I couldn’t trust myself doing that…
I would use the word cowl or cuff. This is a Paul Smith collaboration with Anglepoise.
Trying out a Linn Selekt edition hub with dual mono Organik dac line out modules. This is connected to the 250dr acting as power amp. Sounds absolutely wonderful as it should for $30,000. Effortless dynamic sound. Need to win lotto to get it however .
I found the linn a little too polite - seen a few ex dem c22k ish from memory.
Lovely detail just missed the punch of Naim
Enjoy

As the System Pics thread is fast morphing into the Lamp Pics thread, I would suggest to any members who wish to show off and discuss lamps to please start a dedicated thread in the Lounge. Thanks.
