Great system! I was just wondering….
Are you using the Hicap to power the Superline? If yes, have your tried using the Aux2 input since you added the Z-plug?
Not sure those sheets will protect your gear or furniture from dust, Paul.
Next time you decorate, get some of these below.
Hi Nick thanks for your comment
I had my dealer up yesterday installing the NAP 500. We also did a quick comparison re the Hicap and the Aux 2 we both agreed the Hicap sounded slightly better but also there was not much in it.
However I will be trading it in for a Supercap in due course.

…40% bigger than what…
…40% thicker than what…
What sort of claim is that…
Ohhh, you’re part of the big boys club now, Graham. Enjoy it, matey!
Will do my friend Hope you are good and the speakers get sorted

Exactly! As long as they’re well covered and tucked under those sheets in the photo will be fine
Hi Graham
I upgraded this week also to a 250DR
I wonder where Paul got it from
Steve
enjoy…
Edit… Also welcome to the forum are you in Sheffield?

North Derbyshire only 30 mins to our friends shop
I hope you enjoy the NAC 250 DR very much. It’s a fantastic amp which has brought me a lot of pleasure over the years.

Did you own it from New Graham ?
I sounds Fantastic with my LP12 282 and S6’s
Needed a bit more heft…and these are gorgeous! Better for the volume of our room.
Planning changes for a few months now. It’ll be a few weeks yet to completion.

Lovely System Pic , as always
Like the speakers too
G
Black is a good option. Do like the black ones
But, thinking about you… HiFi Corner Edinburgh have ex demo 24i white on sale.
Also, you can still get 23i in satin white as “ex-demo” around the PMC dealers too.
So white is still maybe do-able ( if that’s a desire)
Good luck
R
It’s not. I love the piano black in the larger speaker. The white 23i felt a bit ‘blingy’. These are more self effacing, if that makes sense.
The 24i would be too large.
G
Sure
Black is brilliant
I was just thinking about you and “being helpful” with insights, just in case
Anyway, good luck with your project.
Look forward to hearing more about your “doings” when you can share
In the meantime, good luck.
R
Thanks and appreciated.
Best,
G
FWIW, quite like the white
And mrs ratrat think the satin white might suit our music room ( I mean, I’m just the HiFi guy. She’s the design guru. But we both love music)
So, we are currently thinking about that.
Obviously, partly inspired by your own efforts in white
Best wishes and good luck
