Different speakers Bevan?

His almost got as much Naim/Neat gear as Harry does.

@Mike_S

I’ve had the petite 30 anniversaries in the Balmain Sydney setup for over a couple of years, only 100 pairs made and Harry managed to get me a pair , they sold out really quick world wide.

I’ve brought them down south to try out - goodness me I reckon they are a better match for the room than the Neat Ultimatum XLS’s that I have, the XLS’s are a very powerful wonderful speaker but need plenty of space to breath

Room size is the problem I have my Orkestras are way to big for the room I currently have them in, and it’s full of stuff.

I’m looking forward to actually hearing them (and my system for that matter) in my studio sometime next year.

What I do know Pete is the 252/SCDR/250DR , like you also , is an absolute cracker combo

Be hard pushed to replace that , the 332/NPX/250 NC gear not sure how much better, probably just different

The NSS333 evidently is a very good step up from the NDX2

You’d best close up your wallet. Anyway, a used CD555 might be cheaper :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:, and no firmware drama to worry about……

Ha ha - I think I’ve got enough Naim CDP’s Mike

CD5XS with nDAC and CDX2 with XPS2 ( Harry had the CDX2 lying around ) - no doubt one of them , hopefully not both at the same time, will implode

NSS 333 is $16k Aus

I think the chair is inspired by a Danish design from the 1960s by Kai Kristiansen called ‘Troja’:

Nice one!

Many thanks for taking the time to reply. Most interesting. Going bespoke is certainly a great idea :grinning:

nice “acoustic” wall, but from an acoustical point of view it was better to treat the wall behind the listening seat!

Wegner ! That’s the one. Thanks @Straydog1

We had a similarly LOUD ten minutes last night to welcome the new kit into the house, which wasn’t empty at the time, and I had genuinely forgotten the kind of slam that its possible for it to produce, everything else over the last 12 months has been way too “polite”

I ended with Fat of the Land but, before being told off, the opening track (smack my…) has 20 or 40 seconds leading up the first big bass drop and when that hit it actually took me by surprise, quite a shock, but it was playing at somewhere a little beyond 9 o’clock on the loud dial

A true master of furniture design. Lovely

This now sounds stunning, never had such a great sound. My little Atc 11”s sound huge with proper fast deep bass
Innuos zenith mk2, reiki superswitch & psu, chord qutest , Atc sia2-100.

Hi Dan hope you are doing OK…I was surprised to see you are using NAC A5 with the system you have. I have two 3M lengths in the garage which I used to use with my Naim Separate system and N-Sats a few years ago but since sold it all and have a Nova but using Audioquest Rocket 11 with Dynaudio Evoke 20, do you think its worth trying out the old NAC A5?

Agree - btw Wegner was Danish, not German…

A lucky find at Truck in Whitney today still holding out for finding ‘Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet’
