That’s what a real Naim looks like! ![]()
Here you go. Mine are c470mm tall and I will let you decide if they are good looking and along the lines you are looking for.
These stands are hollow, so I have half-filled them, whereas the Spendor stand legs are solid.
You’ve been peeking

So what you’re saying is the NC kit will eventually look scruffy and/or scratched whether the protective film is removed or not.
One has to wonder why that particular design aesthetic was chosen…….

@HH: Were these ProAc Tablettes? I’m now looking for some 3/5A sized speakers for a smaller room and already have Linn Kan stands. How do you remember those, safe that you’ve sold them? Thanks.
I’ve known people who have.
They are the Tablette 10 Signature. Wonderful speakers with the Supernait 3, but totally lacking bass with the Nova. I’d try them in the intended location with the intended amplifier before buying. I suspect my room (4.5m by 3.6m) was a little too big for them. The PMCs certainly fill the space much more successfully.
Why will it get to look scruffy
Like any piece of audio equipment one has to look after it
There are other audio manufacturers out there with same or similar finishes
Thanks. I’ve heard T10 Signatures at my dealer, in what he calls the ‘British Room’ - small, with Naim, rega and Harbeth. A friend and I liked them. Must have heard them with Nova, XS3, SN3.
I’ve always loved the size and proportions of the 3/5a and it’s why I bought the Kan stands. Perhaps Tablettes would be fine with my 160.
yes, the T10s will be a perfect match with your 160 !!!
I suspect they’d be excellent with the 160. I had Mk1 Kans for many years, driven by a 72/250. To me the T10s are like a more grown up Kan, very communicative but without the shoutiness.
Thanks. My dealer has one pair and borrowing it for a home demo won’t be a problem - safe for the price, of course.
This is a cracking system, I would love to hear it. It would be really interesting to hear a comparison between your Pulse/Dave and the ND555. I imagine there is not much in it and a lot less boxes!
Your remark is interesting, thanks. At the time I sold the Marten Miles IIs and bought my first pair of SBLs, my brother (a cellist) came for a (rare) visit and said that SBLs were more ‘communicative’ than the Marten.
My Kralk Audi BC30’s designed to sit against or close to a wall fit the Kan II stands perfectly.
Unfortunately not used now due to the ATC7’s.
Interesting, thanks!
They are excellent, Max.
