System Pics 2025

That system looks very nice. :+1:
I like the look of an OC system, so classy and an understated look.

Very nice! Functional, simple, unobtrusive. Well done. I really like the symmetry with the shape of the speaker cabinets.

Thanks very much for your comments.
On occasion l do think of moving to multiple boxes, but keeping the simplicity remains an attraction.

Love the speaker damping Bagpuss.

We have a female tuxedo cat, who loves to sit atop the speakers. With the stuffed toys on top, she won’t jump up on them.

Long time lurker, this is my first post on the forum.

I just rearranged the Naim system in the listening room, and am working on acoustic treatment. Hopefully with time it can look less as a recording studio.

Welcome @Torry. Have you tried bringing the 'speakers further forward, to see if you can hear/find a bass cancellation point(?). This can reap significant rewards .

Thanks @HappyListener!

I believe I did try that when I rearranged the system and then ended up with the current placement. I did well and started out with the manual guideline and took it from there

I don’t experience the bass as boomy right now, but I could be in for a pleasant surprise if I went by your suggestion.

I have it on my todo list to pull the speakers further from the wall anyway, as I experience the soundstage to be quite shallow right now. Perhaps it will be a better move than I thought!

Hi Torry
Looks like you’re going to busy for a bit trying to get that sounding just right.
It would be great if you updated your profile with your System, so we can all Oooh & Ahhh appropriately

Not scruffy or scratched, more like decolored or contaminated. And only if you leave the plastic attached for long enough time (years).

The second line I do not understand, the design is beautiful, but surely the idea is to unpacking before installation.

I really mean that with your plastic attached there are parts exposed to the air and parts that are not (bubbles).

This will eventually create shadows in the material that you cannot clean.

But if you are happy, I am happy.
