I lurked for a long time and did lots of searches on the forum before I bought my system. You’ve taken the plunge, so enjoy. They are a friendly bunch and only a few bite.

Something is going on in QuickSticks land regarding Turntables…

YES! It’s another serious bout of “Upgraditis”…
Watch this space in the coming days for some marvellous changes to both LP12’s😉

I bought a small Bluetooth speaker for my office at work. I don’t do work from home, so I spend 5 days a week at the office.
I just got it today. It is really fun having some music while I work! It is the Sony ULT Field 1.

I don’t think your profile is keeping up with all this :joy:

You’re right Paul, very remiss of me. Thank you for the reminder.
Updated now, although not with the incoming TT upgrades. They’ll go on when the TT’s come back…

I can’t keep up with you. Maybe a quick timeline and summary might help

The only problem with that Mike, is I’d have to face it myself and I am entirely certain it’d scare me to death😂
The “Streamers” had to go and hence the DSM’s.
The problems with the Naim ND Streamers (…& NSS 333 for that matter) were simply inexplicable apparently.
The CDT upgrade to Uniti Core, delivery still pending, was born of a second Mech failure on the AL 7000 CDT.
The TT upgrades are purely because I’ve wanted to do what’s coming for a little while.
Not gonna deny, we’ve come a very long way since the first 202/200 system was installed on 1st October 2022…:face_with_peeking_eye:

Following on from my earlier post here is the new improved version. Gone is the Supernait 2 with non-Naim PSU to be replaced by an absolutely mint NAC 52 and Supercap - what a difference! Only other mod is now powering the REL sub from the speaker terminals (thanks Richard!). The new combo came with the grey DIN 5 240 lead. I tried a newer black version but preferred the original.
May look at other cable upgrades later together with re-cap of the 52 combo and the XPS2 but I think this could be my end-point system. I would like to power my EAR 509s from the Supercap like the 135 mono-block system, but have yet to source the correct reasonable quality leads (L & R 4 pin DIN to RCA).
Cheers, Tom

Hi .. what happened to the raised platform that you been busy with past months ago? Am I seeing things or getting to the wrong owners .. am confused

Confused I think Naimophile. That picture was a nostalgic indulgence of the first system installed on 1st October 2022. Below is a picture taken a couple of weeks ago, when the Selekt DSM was installed and showing the completed isolation platform
