. Thanks for clearing my confused mind ![]()
I have just realized what your TT upgrades are.
One Bedrock upgrade will be fantastic, but two is just showing off…
You sir, are mad as a box of frogs…![]()

Well, time will tell…
Just a random thought (cf acoustics), but it could be the extra levels at the bottom of the Fraim are now creating a ‘finned bass trap’ of sorts, which being close to the wall and floor diminishes some of the lowest frequency room modes, thereby enhancing the overall sound.
So, taking the observation of @ChrisSU , perhaps someone would like to try a 5 level fin base and compare it to the just 3 levels that @Cohen1263 has?
Maybe. As you will know corner bass traps work better off the floor and with a little space around them. 3 is my limit though or it will just start to look strange IMO

Beedy eyed
, yeah one of the 500 burndies touches the floor, if I separate the Fraim stacks by 1 inch it doesn’t touch. I prefer the stacks close together.
Looks very smart, enjoy

Which streamer did you have prior to your Pulse and how did Pulse change the performance?
Previously an ND5XS2 feeding the DAVE.
I saw no end to the firmware issues so made a choice and opted for the Pulse.
The Pulse combined with the DAVE is a formidable performer, probably the best none digital experience I’ve heard.
If an old Sony tuner plugged into a Nova counts as a ‘system’ then this is mine. It’s a recent upgrade from the Atom that served me very well in a much smaller room.
Am also running in these PMC Prodigy 1s after the forced retirement of my dear old Spendor SA1s.
I should think so too ![]()
Best wishes for many years of musical bliss.
oh dear - did not realize that. That was speedy! I also had times like these.
Whoa, that looks fantastic, are they active or passive?
