Whoever the marketing person writing the 300 series page is, they need to be fired. Get the old folks back, Naim. Moving past the bad English, it sounds like communist propaganda.
Tremendous news Naim! Much anticipated and very welcome. The 300 series is a really neat, low box count system.
Best regards, BF
Me too. That will be Saturdays job.
Specs and manuals now on the product pages of the Naim website, apologies if someone else already said so!
Itās tonight here. Iām sitting by the phone waiting for the call. Itās only 4m this week I might not be the extra power supply.
Well, Iām assuming this to be the case. But I donāt really understand the XLR balanced/unbalanced thing, but Iād hope you could connect them with the existing Superlumina interconnects?
Low box count ā¦ā¦
Streamer, pre-amp, two power supplies, two mono blocks, so 6 if you have only streamingā¦ā¦
Power supplies are optional, mono blocks often sited next to speakers, not on rackā¦
10 if you pitch in for the phono combo and a CD.
The XLRs here are different in that they are balanced so you wonāt be able to use the old NAP300 interconnects, which were single ended.
The new NAIT 50 is an interesting one with itās built-in phono stage. Iām wandering what turntable and stand-mounts were used during itās development stagesā¦
Oh, I see. Hopefully new SL will come out in due course. A factor to consider then if swapping power amps out.
I have two questions about the 333 streamer:
Does it have a suspended sub chassis like in Nds and Nd555?
What is the dac chip inside?
You can run system with 4 boxes. As @110dB has said, streamer and preamp have own PS so you can add external PSās as optional extra but not essential
Brilliant execution of how the bits fit together. Simple upgrade paths. A nod to 135s. Definitely a well thought out continuation. Superb!
Sadly since Jan the new aesthetic didnāt grow on me though. If anything I struggle with it more. But thatās a personal issue. It seems to have gone down well with most people so theyāve hit the right mark there.
Good question Mr Roster there doesnāt seem any mention of the chip.
The streamer section is the same as the NDX2 from what I can tell. In fact, it looks like it is the NDX2 in the new styling.
Fantastic stuff and congratulations to the Naim team. I was interested in the 350 though the price is a bit more than I was expecting. I suspect prices of current Nap 300 Dr might harden up a little - best grab those bargains now.
See the Product Info sheet posted above and elsewhere. Itās the TI/Burr-Brown PCM1791A running in external filter mode.
