Does exactly what it says on the tin the Detroit Techno sound of the likes of Magic Juan Atkins mixed with beautiful Jazz. I’ve only heard thr title track and it is an absolute banger, original and forward thinking.

Didn’t BASF distribute MPS at some point ? I have a copy of Oscar Peterson’s Girl Talk from his Exclusively for My Friends series that has both MPS and BASF on the label.
Every MPS release I have both originals and reissues sound fantastic so am really looking forward to this Monty Alexander greatest hits the Oscar Peterson one released recently was excellent.

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Ultimate Wailers Box Set, Cleopatra Records (2023)
This 5LP box set though almost certainly unofficial got some excellent reviews for it’s sound quality when it was first released wether or not this has the same quality remains to be heard. It will probably get a few grumpy old Victor Meldrews hot under the collar for being credited as Bob Marley & The Wailers but if it sounds good I’ll 100% be in because the track listing is excellent.

Yes semi bootleg but it’s only 4 albums, the earlier release a few years ago was the 5 disc version.
I’m a little bit sceptical about the sound quality.

Cleopatra is a US label that have been re issuing BMW’s recordings with Lee Scratch Perry.
The original and best recordings of songs that BMW would later re record for the Island albums.
Looks like this is just another milking/re packaging of that material, not sure of the probity and sources Cleopatra are using.
Personally I would look for the Trojan re issues of the individual albums (original Upsetter and Trojan pressings cost a fortune) Soul Rebel, Soul Revolution, Soul Revolution Pt2. Or Soul Revolutionaries a 4CD set from Sanctuary (Trojan) that also includes the Leslie Kong produced Best Of The Wailers album. Or the excellent Trojan distillation of the recordings for the African Herbsman album.
The Lee Scratch Perry BMW recordings have been pirated and bootlegged ad nauseum. Lee Scratch Perry properly licenced the material to Trojan, I would tread a very careful caveat emptor of this material coming from any other source.

@James_C @Bobthebuilder MPS did belong to BASF. They sold it when they did quit the Audio sector. Actually MPS belongs to Edel, the company that also owns Optimal

Local psycho ( a jimmy cauty project) 12 inch on order… tempted by the planned slate cut version when more details available even though it is unplayable.
I thought Bob was only living by Peace and Love, bread and water only.
