Just arrived…

Nice to have the so-called ‘lost album’ funking up the place. Some bass on this one!

A great album Steve, and the (almost) title track is my favourite Lizzy number.

Spot on Eoin mine too, although there are a number that run it very close.

CD one of a three-disc set. Early '80s disco at its most joyful.

Now playing…

Christian Wallumrød Ensemble - The Zoo Is Far

Christian Wallumrød (Piano, Harmonium, Toy Piano), Arve Henriksen (Trumpet), Gjermund Larsen (Violin, Hardanger Fiddle, Viola), Tanja Orning (Cello), Giovanna Pessi (Harp) and Per Oddvar Johansen (Drums, Percussion, Glockenspiel).

Streaming on TIDAL… a mention of Arve Henriksen in the ‘Vinyl’ thread by @TheKevster had me reach for an album with Arve playing, although not the lead, it is one that I enjoy. A fun and sweet album!

The first track; 35 minutes of ‘Offertorium’ has vague influences from JSB, a very abstract take on the art of fugue perhaps [ but like you’ve never heard it before ] and enjoyably spine tingling just the job for tonight : >
