On the last track a superb album.

Richard Thompson - Bloody Noses - 16/44 WAV download
6 track EP available download only from today, Bandcamp are doing a zero fee day today, so good day to pick it up as RT gets all the money. It’s Richard Thompson and an acoustic guitar, with his wife harmonising on a couple of songs. It’s as you expect, classy songs with mordant lyrics leavened by dry black humour, guitar playing for the ages, does anyone get more emotion from an acoustic? On my second listen, I think Survivor is my standout song, and could easily join the ranks of his greatest most loved numbers.

Agreed, now on the last track, great album, this Is my second of the new releases that have came out today, the first Paul Weller’s “On Sunset” brilliant album.

Now looking at the new releases trying to decide what to listen to next.

Back home now.
Heard this on one of those ‘best of the year roundup’ type of programmes and I thought it was worth a punt. Vocals a bit like a female version of Fogel Sharkey

I have only recently discovered a liking for some types of Jazz and am currently giving this Blue Note a spin. The quality of the pressing is excellent and the music even better.

That’s an early Earl - only his second release.
George Benson liked it so much he titled an LP with the same song!
