Freddie Hubbard. Backlash. Thanks to @anon71888798 for broadening my 60s jazz knowledge with this one. I imagine it sounds best slipped on the turntable late at night but this morning on a smart speaker in the background while I prepare breakfast sounds pretty good too.

I was looking for the EthioJazz master Mulatu Astatke’s live album Timeless on Qobuz and couldn’t find it. I did find this though. Excellent

The Beatles - Anthology 1, interestingly ,they did not carry on with the brief spoken snippets that were used on this first installment to help tell the story.Always enjoy the skit with Morecombe and Wise, must dig out the dvd’s for the visuals.
