A random pick on Qobuz new releases, this band is new to me, four tracks in and I am enjoying this a lot.

Cat Power - The Greatest
Sunny morning, waking up music.
Graham, that is probably the price of the album in 1968 - 13 shillings/11 pence?
Add in The Singing Ringing Tree, The White Horses and Catweazle and I think that’s all I need to remember my childhood.
Great stuff @Ian - do share your opinions on the other albums you order!
Always happy to spread some TC love!
Brian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets.
I think I first heard this around 1981. Listening to it now takes me right back to that time. Grotty flat, teenage confusion and all the rest of it. On the bright side, long hair, motorcycles and a care-free summer with a ‘free’ Glastonbury Festival (in those days the ‘fence’ was a rope around the site so if you arrived late at night you could just ride onto the site).
John Meyer - Inside Wants Out
Upbeat, sunny tunes
Mark Knopfler
Sailing To Philadelphia
One of Marks best.

Always amazes me when a new album like this gets dragged up out of nowhere after hiding for 60+ years. Really good music and pressing…Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers Just Coolin’
Iona Brown & The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra - Greig + Tippett + Beethoven

Thanks Tony. My post was another failed attempt at humour. I’m tempted to say that some of your early vinyl might have been priced in pfennigs but I won’t risk it.
What’s a hoover?
Rolling Stones - Rarities 1971-2003
Ironing a few shirts, thinking about what we are going to do this weekend, savouring the small moments, and all the time Charlie and Keith laying some top tracks on me. Good times
