Van Morrison - St Dominic’s Preview
The master at work!!
‘Sacked’ has to be the greatest track ever. Just love it. Cracks me up every time. ‘Ello Keef it’s John ‘ere!
He’s wearing my old flares !
Haha! Too smart to have been mine, which had a half moon worn out of the heel, holes in the knees before it was fashionable and patches on the backside.
Eagles. Desperado. I think the only Eagles album with the band on the cover. Strange. One of their best imho.

Fine album. But speaking of the cover, the guns are a bit, you know, sh!te.
Almost too much to take in, some great music on this new release…not a huge Prince fan, but a great artist, musician…
Red River Dialect - Abundance Welcoming Ghosts. Although released on an American label, this band turns out to be from Cornwall. It’s very good folk-rock music and in parts reminds me a little bit of Midlake’s The Trials of Van Occupanther album.
PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love
Wonderful album and follows Goldfrapp’s Silver Eye well enough.
Cowboys without guns?? Turntables without arms??
Elton John: 17-11-70 & Elton John
Showing my age now
Saw them live at Hammersmith Odeon many years ago, 1983 I think. Absolutely fantastic band, got that one, Dire Straits and Brothers in Arms. Enjoy!
It’s an excellent live album, I managed to get a hold of the double CD copy.
