What are you listening to in 2020 and WHY might anyone be interested?

Massive Attack - Protection.

I had a bit of a Massive Attack afternoon a couple of days ago, and if there was any doubt about SQ, following the recent streamer firmware update, then this album, and particularly the track “Three”, removed any uncertainty … stunning!

This “best of” from Resonance’s 10-LP box set contains such astonishing material that I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and shell out for the whole set…

One of the finest, and a favourite album of mine. Saw the Allmans at Knebworth 1974, they were awesome. About £3 for a ticket to see Tim Buckley, Alex Harvey, John McLaughlin, Van Morrison, Doobie Brothers and the Allmans, I believe it may have been the only gig they ever played in the UK.

There are also these albums and at least one other from a festival in I think Aachen circa 1969. I saw Keef Hartley and his band at the Boat club on Trent side in Nottingham in the late 1960’s and have been a fan ever since.
Enjoy his music.

Seal - Seal IV

Nice stuff. Just don’t pick the version of this album that contains Seal introducing each and every song in separate tracks. Very irritating.

Just love the title song with Paul Simon.

In 24/96. Spectacular performance by perhaps the greatest of all jazz singers.

I’ll give it a shot later today. The guitarist (Spit James?) seems to be supremely gifted. Whatever happened to him?

Samantha Fish - Chills & Fever

Pretty good stuff, despite one or two weaker tracks, from an artist new to me.

Cheers @Gazza, great shout.
