Sandy Denny, The North Star Grassmen and The Ravens, CD rip

tbh Robert Reed does get a bit ‘samey’ after half an hour. He hasn’t got the same knack as MO of taking a line of music and repeating it over and over but each repeat making it sound different.

So some excellent folk from Mrs Fairport Convention

:balloon: :balloon: Happy Birthday Ralph Molina! :balloon: :birthday:

Born in Puerto Rico, Molina has been a member of Crazy Horse since they were formed in 1962 as Danny & the Memories. He has remained throughout the band’s many personnel changes, and has performed on all releases by the band, with and without Young. Molina’s style of drumming is characterised by simple but steady beats and fills.

Fairport Convention - What we did on our Saturday - WAV Cd rip
Recording of ( most of) Fairport’s set at the 2017 Cropredy Festival, their 50th anniversary reunion. I was there as I am pretty much every August, and it was a blast. As many of the historic lineups as are still around (and able substitutes for the sadly deceased and unwell) romping their way through the best loved songs from their massive catalogue, excellent songs, great musicianship and for me a hell of a lot of nostalgia.
