Steely Dan. Can’t buy a thrill. I’ve lost count of the number of forum members who have recommended this group. My previous experience of them was a Whistle Test appearance. I did try to go through their back catalogue in a haphazard manner but it didn’t work so I’ve gone back to the beginning with the intention of working chronologically. I have really enjoyed this and it is now on my list of albums to buy but I think I will linger before moving on to the next.

Robin Trower - Long Misty Days - WAV CD rip
A mix of rock ballads and gentle blues rockers, lovely guitar work, a lightly bluesy album with a gentle vibe, just suited my mood.

Marilyn Crispell - Storyteller

Marilyn Crispell (Piano), Mark Helias (Double-Bass) and Paul Motian (Drums).

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… continuing on with Marilyn this Monday morning and this trio is sounding very smooth and relaxing on the opening track. Another sweet album with Marilyn!
